We are delighted to announce that the winner of this years’ Demon Barber Clog Competition is Sam Jones! Our competition which took place on the 1st of May at Upton Folk Festival was judged by the fantastic and very talented Huw Williams and Ceri James. Like us, Huw and Ceri love to see the development of traditional clog, looking for great presentation, technical skill but most importantly innovation! Winner, Sam, is from Oxford but learnt clogging in South Wales. His choreography, movement and changes of rhythm were outstanding! Our congratulations must also go to runner up, Ayliffe Edwards! Thank you to all who took part and made it such an enjoyable event for all involved. We can’t wait to see what you bring to the stage next year!
