Exciting weekend coming up for clog fans! The Lancashire Wallopers Weekend of Clog, (in Leyland on the 16th – 17th Feb) is one of my very favourite weekends of the year. A whole weekend of clog tuition from absolute beginners to advanced
is hosted by The Lancashire Wallopers who’s founder members were taught by the
mighty Sam Sherry himself!

Fiona (my sister) and myself go as often as we can to learn new dances and brush
up on our skills. We’ve often gone in a group mixed with advanced, improvers and
total beginners and the friendly, supportive atmosphere has made it a great
place to learn and improve for everyone. This is why we all return year after
year!

As if that’s not exciting enough…. Harry Cowgill will be teaching his
competition steps which appear in The Lock In as Harry’s Hornpipe. They’re a
great set of unique and challenging steps and you simply can’t miss out on the
chance to learn them from Harry himself, a great and inspiring dancer, and
lovely man to boot!

If you’re already a clogger, go and learn something new and get inspired, if you
don’t clog yet, GO AND LEARN!!!
